General

Maxias DX obtains personal information if it is provided by the user. If the user has contacted us, Maxias DX will have their contact information.

Cookies

Maxias DX uses cookies and other technologies to automatically collect certain types of information about visited online. The collection of this information is used to tailor the experience towards the user, improve performance, and measure effectiveness of marketing activities.

Cookies are created when the user's web browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser, creating a text file.

Whenever the user returns to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Computer cookies are created not just by the website the user is browsing but also by other websites that run ads, widgets, or other elements on the page being loaded.

IP Addresses

IP addresses are numbers assigned to computers when accessing the internet, it allows computers and servers to recognise and communicate with one another. The IP addresses from which visitors and users appear to originate from will be recorded for IT security and diagnostic purposes.

Google Calendar

Maxias DX schedules your appointment bookings on Google Calendar. During the appointment booking process, you will be asked for your email address, an event will then be scheduled on your chosen time and date of the booked appointment.

Web Beacons

Web beacons are small image files on web pages that are used to collect certain information, such as IP addresses, time of content being viewed, browser type, and the pre-existing cookies used by the website, from your computer. Maxias DX only uses web beacons in accordance with applicable laws.

DX Services

Maxias DX generally collects only the personal information necessary to fulfill your request. Where additional, optional information is sought, you will be notified of this at the point of collection.

Maxias DX will process personal information based on one of the following conditions:

  • Performance of a contract: this is when the processing of your personal information is necessary in order to perform Maxias DX's obligations under a contract;
  • Legal obligation: this is when Maxias DX is required to process your personal information in order to comply with a legal obligation, such as keeping records for tax purposes or providing information to a public body or law enforcement agency;
  • Legitimate interests: Maxias DX will process information about you where it is in their legitimate interest in running a lawful business to do so in order to further that business, so long as it doesn’t outweigh your interests;
  • Your consent: in some cases, Maxias DX will ask you for specific permission to process some of your personal information, and Maxias DX will only process your personal information in this way if you agree to Maxias DX doing so.

Transfer to Third Parties

Maxias DX does not share client information with third parties, except as necessary for Maxias DX's legitimate professional and business needs, to carry out your requests, and as required or permitted by law or professional standards.

Choices

You are not required to submit any personal information to Maxias DX. Maxias DX will also ask for permission to use personal information, and you can agree to or decline those uses.

Rights

If Maxias DX processes personal information about you, you have the rights of:

  • Access and correction: you have the right to access to that data.
  • Object to processing: you have the right to object to Maxias DX processing your personal information if Maxias DX are not entitled to use it anymore.
  • Other Rights: in addition, you may have rights to have your information deleted if Maxias DX are keeping it too long, have its processing restricted in certain circumstances and/or to obtain copies of information Maxias DX hold about you in electronic form.

Data Security

Maxias DX has security policies and procedures in place to protect client information from unauthorised loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.
